Notes -
For ease of purpose the OpenGL ICD's are named 3dfxogl.xxx ....
These have to be renamed to 3dfxogl.dll and placed into the Windows \System folder to function.
Note that using different OpenGL ICD's that differ from your Default Version is for experimental purposes only. Mix 'n Match of different driver files with OpenGL ICD's however 'should' be unproblematic, and can be easily restored by placing the original Driver shipped with your previous installation.
Purpose : slightly increased OpenGL features and compatibility...
Before using another OpenGL ICD, make sure you backup/rename the existing one ! (e.g. 3dfxogl.bak)

Note that all original 3dfx OpenGL Drivers are only OpenGL 1.1 compilant.

If you run into any trouble using OpenGL with no solution at hand, I recommend :
- the WickedGL package from MetaByte (best suited for HalfLife Engine based Games) or
-
MesaFX (OpenGL 1.3 compilant, best compatiblity for modern/current OpenGL Games)
