If possible, install to the root of the C Drive (eg. c:\unreal) 2) Run the Unreal game patch: Unrealfx.exe on the Restoration CD provided with your system. The file: Unrealfx.exe can be found in the (\Win95-98\Display\Banshee\Unreal) Directory on this CD. 3) The game patch will prompt you to unzip and overwrite the files to the \Unreal\System directory. (The "Unzip to Folder" will default to: C:\Unreal\System. If you've installed Unreal here, hit Unzip. If not, you will have to type in the correct folder where you've installed Unreal). 4) Once you are sure you have the correct path to your Unreal installation hit "Unzip" 5) A message will appear letting you know that you've unzipped the files successfully and the Unreal patch ReadMe will come up. 6) Close the readme and begin playing Unreal. Quake2 (NOTE: Quake2 will run in software mode as a default. You must set up 3D Hardware acceleration for it to work.) Here's how: 1) Install Quake2. 2) Run Quake2. Select the Video menu item. 3) In the Video menu, go to driver (it should say "software") and select "3Dfx OpenGL". 4) In the Video menu, go to resolution and set it to any resolution up to 800x600. Hexen2 1) Install Hexen2. 2) To run Hexen2 with 3D Hardware acceleration, double-click on the file: GLH2.exe. If this happens, you need to go to Start/Shut Down/Restart in order for the changes to take effect.
